Us, also. We were heading home and we are near Spray, OR. Out in the middle of nowhere but close enough to Portland. I knew of 2 BLM campgrounds nearby and thought that they would be empty as they alway have been. Wrong. All along the river people were camped in big Class A or C vehicles. Loud? Yes. The two campgrounds were plugged. Since we didn’t want to join other people’s parties, we found an unposted gravel pit and drive the road to the back. River view and peace. We don’t have a tv, inside or out, and play music inside. We have two dogs who will bark but quiet down if told. We rarely stay in campgrounds anymore but prefer to Boondock. Our last two week trip mainly eastern WA, Eastern OR and N.E. CA and NW Nv cost $30 in camping fees.
