Well said, Bob. I had only one negative experience with a dog that I can remember. Some years ago, I was staying at an RV park in Elk City, OK. The rvers across the way from me kept a dog tied up outside their camper for long periods of time, even overnight. I suppose they may have returned briefly to feed it, or had a neighbor do it.
The problem was at night, when the dog would commence barking. It got so annoying one night I called the local police to complain. A day or so later they, and the dog, were gone. I imagine the other neighboring campers were relieved!
