As to people cutting through a campsite, bicycles work great as barriers along with careful positioning of the tow vehicle.
It is just new people camping for the first time. I guess I was "lucky" in that when we first started going to family campgrounds, we were tenting it but friends were experienced RV'rs with a 24ft TT. He basically "taught" us all the campground etiquette, both written and unwritten - which I thought most "rules" were silly and stupid... at first. Now that we've been doing this for going on decades, I understand the reasons behind all the "camping etiquette".
Try to be polite with new campers. Everyone had to go on their first camping trip.
