Couple week-ends ago we were at a state park in Indiana. I got up early to take our dogs for their morning walk. We passed several tents and a couple pop-ups. I was surprised how much "snoring" could be heard. My dogs were good and never barked, but they sure wanted to go up to the tents and the pop-ups and see what the noise was all about.
Anyone who thinks their MH, TT, or 5er is soundproof is basically out of touch with reality. It does not have to be a tent or a popup. I have heard snoring from all of them, and can usually pick up what's on TV. The best are the ones with subwoofers. I can usually tell after the first night who has one.
We noticed a differance in noise when we sold our TT and bought a hybrid. Now that said I could sleep through a nuclear blast so no problem for me, DW though was another story...Next RV will be all hard side.
