We are not land barons. We are people staying in a campsite for a night or two or whatever. Lighten up already. Your legal rights as a landowner/tenant/leaseholder are almost zero staying in a campsite.
Not to stir the pot with further discussion but you CAN have someone arrested for trespassing and removed from your designated campsite. I have had to do it with a date that refused to leave. Unfortunately, they are allowed to stay at the next campsite right next to you unless the owner of the property talks to the sheriff and has them removed from the whole campground.
Not walking through someone's campsite is just common courtesy. I've stayed at a campground where you walked pretty darn close to some sites when accessing the paths to the bathhouse, beach, common areas, etc. It all boils down to being courteous.
Your scenario is a bit different. More of a domestic dispute or disorderly conduct than a trespassing situation. Still interesting though.
