Aug 21, 2018Correct. My trespassing ordeal is a bit different than just a person walking through my campsite. My reason for the comment is that you do (as a rental tenant) have a legal means to remove someone from your campsite.
My story, in a nutshell, is this. I was set up with a date through a "friend" (they are no longer a friend now). My date (at the time I was introduced to her) was renting a room from my friend. After our 2nd date, she informed me that my friend kicked her out. I, being the kind hearted soul that I am, suggested that she could stay at the RV until she found another place. After the 2nd night of her "temporary" stay, I quickly realized that she had no intention of finding another place and that she had found her "home". She refused to leave the site. Once she was out of the RV, I locked the door. I informed the campsite owner and the sheriff was called. I have never dealt with an adult that just crossed their arms and sat down and refused to deal with the situation. I am still amazed a the situation to this day. I realized that I got into the situation because I am too trusting of people. Live and learn I guess.
