Camping in Ohio

We plan to visit friends in Ahland, Ohio. Do you know of any campgrounds, RV park, etc within a reasonable driving distance of there?

  • Highly Recommend Everygreen Park in Dundee, Ohio. This is a high priced park, but it has excellent reviews. See rvparkreviews.com There are many other parks in the area including Huston Woods, Loudenville, Ohio

Evergreen would be bit far to drive to Ashland. I never understood the attraction of that place anyway. 5 ft between each site and just packed in.

When will you be in Ohio? How close to Ashland do you want? There is a watershed area near Mansfield that is nice. http://www.mwcd.org/

Lake Erie areas are not all that far. 60 miles or so. OHIO is not a good place for winter camping cold wet and camp areas are muddy. If you go to Port Clinton, Ohio ares a state park East Harbor is very nice http://www.eastharborstatepark.org/
  • Mohican state park if you can get reservations, hard to get as they book fast.
