This is similar to what we now carry in our RV to have a fire in the evenings anywhere. Hotdogs and smores can be cooked ovn it, as well as feeling warm and toasty sitting around it. Using something like this for fires really reduces the work with finding/carrying wood for, building, feeding, and putting out, wood fires.
