This topic has come up at least once each year for the past ten years and the above answer is the best I have ever read concerning this topic.
This weekend we are dry camping in a big field to watch slew jet boat racing. We are on the so called "quiet" side of the road but we still hear most of the partiers on the other side. We have come here for three years and are fully aware of the atmosphere and conditions.
If one does not understand the conditions of a venue it would be best to stay away rather than complain.
So, I quess my pet peve about campers are complainers.
