Camping season

I can smell it in the air. Camp is open, snow is off the ground. Let the Dewinterizing, Pump and Water Heater questions begin!:B

  • Camping season 24-7-365. No idea how to winterize other than heading South.

Same here. It will soon be over 100 degrees with no shade in site.
  • Yep, here in Texas, other than the heavy rains, come middle of June, camping requires an A/C to be run from 9am to 7pm, preferably in concert with a dehumidifier so one doesn't feel clammy due to the humidity.

This is when the rig goes into (hopefully covered) storage until the weather breaks, which used to be early September, but has been as late as Thanksgiving in recent years.

Come fall, I know when camping season starts when I start seeing sewage hoses on the side of the road, or RVs with them dragging from the bumper.

**** sure over in SW Fl. 90 degrees and 90 % humidity! 3 weeks for camp to get out of the 50's and I'm gone.

It’s good to see that your ready to start camping. But, all seasons are “camping seasons”.....some are just a little more challenging than others! ;)
They're a lot challenging when its -20°F, there's 3-feet of snow and the ground, and the roads aren't plowed.
