1968. boy Scouts, tent camping in Valley Forge Park! Then in the 70's my Dad bought a piece property in New Jersey and we would car camp, He would sometimes empty his company van out and some of us would sleep on mattresses in the van!! brought our kids up tent camping, then a pop Up trailer, now a 23' travel trailer with all the amenities, Kids are grown and go tent camping on their own with friends,, they still use a bunch of camping gear from when they were younger!! I am sure they will take their kids camping and share the wonderful experiences with them!!
