What is the base made of? Gonefishing77, google "lovejoy store" that is who we got our sign from. Looks like lots of detail in her signs. Will let you know for sure when we actually receive ours.

Years ago (13 yrs ago), we had a sign made up. It looked like on of the signs you put in front of a house thats for sale. It worked very well.

Polly takes care of ours, sometimes with a name tag, sometimes carrying her lanp, and sometimes waving the flaq!!



But she got a dye job for this gig!

A 4 ft 4x4 will make a good pole to put it on. Use a post hole digger for the hole. Don't use cement in the hole, just fill in around the hole with dirt. Both will store easily in the basement.

I'm pretty sure she's not one of "the parts from Lowe's". :)

LOL when I first saw RoyB's posting I thought he was joking about having his wife stand there holding a sign. It took a minute for me to spot the actual sign post in the picture. :B

As stated, PenMan, your light post was part of GoogleSearch and RoyB posted it/them as an example for the OP. (He always comes up with the best visuals for his posts.)

I like the black light/sign post. Oh wait a minute, it's mine. Wondering why you put a picture of my post in your reply? In hind sight, I like the white post color better. Mine will run off of AA batteries or can be plugged into a 12 volt outlet on the trailer. I made it this way since we boondock so much. I also cut the trailer shaped sign (copy of my TT) on my laser.

I have a 5/8 x 3 ft solid steel rod with a point on one end that I drive into the ground, then slip a PVC pipe over the steel rod.
