Campsite sign post ideas (updated with pic)

Hey guys,
Wife and I just ordered a new custom sign to put out at our campsite. We were needing some ideas for a post to hang it on. Need something fairly easy to erect and tear down. Would like to be able to easily fit it in our storage compartment. Any ideas and pics would be welcome. Thanks, John

I use Shepard hook available at home improvement stores

Yep, I picked one up at a rummage sale. IIRC, it cost $1.
Now, to get a new sign made. The one I have is in bad shape!
  • I also use shepard hooks for a welcome sign, plants, solar light and windchimes. There are single ones, double, triple, different thicknesses and heights.
  • I think a 1-1/2" PVC post, with a plywood base that you can weigh down with some sandbags or blocks would work fine. The one that Roy posted (with the light) is really nice, and I could see where a solar or battery powered light would be really nice at night.

could you mount something on the front of the TV? I'll assume that like your signature picture, it's usually out front by the road when you camp anyway, how about a bracket that would attach to the front bumper?

This is my LAMP POST SIGN setup

Made up from parts from LOWES including the lamp.. My sign holder pulls out from its mount and the bottom of the post is screwed into a piece of wood. We use different wrap around lights etc depending on the season... All stores easily for transport.

These are from google search that might give you some different ideas what others did with their lamp post setup.
