Campsite/Campground Theft
I read quite often in this forum of people securing anything that weighs less than their RV to deter theft. It is a shame if this needs to be done and I am wondering if theft at campgrounds is as bad...

I wish that we could mmirror the majority of the experiences voiced here. One of our favorite campgrounds in Southern Oregon was a major crime scene several years ago. Gererators, fishing poles, a wallet on the front seat of a locked truck (broke the window out) and a host of other salable items disappeared. We lost the side cover off our honda 2000. Go figure (and $35). It was just gone in the morning. Some of the honda 3000 generators that were take disappeared in daytime and were chained down. Harbor Freight bolt cutters I suspect.
