Can I tow this- the early years....

Yep. Question is as old as the industry.

  • Found this one years ago at that Canadian guy's site and IIRC, his
tread of any 'FWD car' can tow had this image as an example

That guy's setup needs some tweaking... :B

Trailer is pointing too high... :E

No WD, but single axle trailer, so must be a 10% tongue so 'half ton towable' for sure... :B

Of course the trailer brakes stop the trailer...so no need to have
any extra braking on this TV... :B

Betcha he can tow in OD !!!! and since not an automatic, won't hunt
gears...he has total control of which gear... :B

Today's road bike tires can be aired up to 120PSI, but back then betcha
    he's at 35PSI...'P' class range...
  • There's a pic somewhere of a bicyclist pulling an Airstream. Publicity department did it.
  • Buick's rock.

  • You just need to run a super single in the rear - No problem!
  • It will be just fine if it has the 'Max Tow' and 'HD' option...been
doing that for hundreds of thousands of miles with no problem

    :B:B:B:B:B:B:B:B:B:B:B:B:B:B:B:B
  • Meh, I don't care how much power it has, it has too short a wheelbase. You need the dually long bed version cause, you know, it you don't have a dually then you can't pull any trailer except for a 5x8 utility. Duh!
  • This should get the job done. :B

  • Cute.
    But, obviously a staged picture.
Those Isettas could barely pull themselves with 2 people aboard. No way it could pull any trailer!
