The wife called a campground in Redding, CA. was told the gal had been on the phone all morning taking reservations for snowbirders coming down. We both thought it was a little early, but could be making reservations for October and the other later months.

We aren't staying at the park since they wanted $55. a night.

Economy is improving.

Still a lot of good weather left up here, but I do admit I'm getting the itch to move on. Once the days start getting shorter, what's the point hanging around up here in the dark.

Would love to buy a place down south like you, but I'm afraid DW would never want to be that far from the kids. Having multiple S&B's is just too much like work.

Fire up the old RV and take a look for yourself so you know first hand. Lake Tahoe area is beautiful even when it's covered in snow.

We started our planning today and will leave early next Month!!! South-TX via MA and LA!
