Can I use a 50 amp connection for my 30 amp RV?

Probably a dumb question. I locked up a reservation at SILVER STRAND SB, CA. Let me just say reservations for 5 nights in early July on the beach is tough, so I was in a hurry. Anyway, Reserve Amer...

This is totally WRONG!

A 50 amp RV service provides 50 amp 240 volt service or two 50 amp 120 volt "hot" service wires, one neutral wire, and one ground wire. The 50 amp to 30 amp adapter uses one of the 50 amp 120 volt "hot" wires, the neutral wire, and the ground wire. Therefore, the 50 amp to 30 amp adapter actually provides 50 amp service.
