- gotsmartExplorerI use this one: LG 30-Pint Dehumidifier Model # LD301EL that I bought 2 years ago at Home Depot $178. It has a digital display and works really well. Home Depot's website says that it is not available. Check in-store for it. Website inventories can be inaccurate.
In the winter I put it on the kitchen counter, back side facing out. The warmed air acts as supplemental heat. Since my gray valve is left open (except when I dump), I let the dehumidifier drain into the sink so that I never have to empty its reservoir.
- JJBIRISHExplorerYou are going to need the electric no matter how you do it… almost any dehumidifier would work, and you will need a drain for the water or need to check and empty the reservoir…

Hi,
Run the air conditioner and run a 500 watt heater at the same time. That will drop humidity quickly and effectively.
I can do that now but also looking ahead to winter time - pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
