can you reduce 50 amp service to 30 amp?
I have found a rv campground that I would like to use, however, they only have 50 amp service, and I need 30 amp service. Mgr tells me that he can use a reducer and I will be ok. Is this a good idea?...

Should not be a problem.
It will still be able to supply 50 amps. So just don't go crazy plugging in electrical appliances or you will trip a breaker in your rig.
