CanaDream Has Anyone Purchased From Them

Looking to purchase a B Class Anyone out there had any experience with this Rental Company when purchasing a former rental unit. Not looking for opinions on buying rental units in general only those who have purchased from CanaDream.

Having seen the way inexperienced RVers treat rental unit, I would never buy a rental unit.

Ken has clearly never looked at many former rental units,

My rental I purchased was professionally repainted, had new tires, new brakes, new tranny, new beds, new furniture, new curtains, and the list of new things go on and on because most rental companies refurbish their vehicles before they sell them and they also service them before every rental. I would take one of these over any of the either over priced (under water financially) or sittin in a field for five years with 4,0000 miles private seller units any day. Not to mention, mine came with a free 1 year warranty and I have brought it back to the rental company to have small things fixed twice for free. Try getting any of that stuff from a private seller.

The big plus to buying a rental? You pay about 50% less than you would from a private seller selling a similiar unit and about 80% less than buying new. Trust me. I looked for five years. Most private sellers are INSANE when it comes to pricing their used RV. I saw roach motels that were rotted inside and out for more than I paid for my almost perfect former rental.

Edit: All that said, my situation must be taken into consideration as I live in SoCal. Good deals are hard to find on used RV's in a land where perfect weather year round and an abundance of amazing places to visit within 1-5 hrs driving exist. :)

Know you said a "B" - but you might look over the re-sale inventory of Class C's from Cruise America.

13 locations in the US - units come with a 12 month, 12,000mile (18,000km-Canada) warranty.
Even a fly & buy rebate.

Their "FAQs" section is interesting - even if you use it to compare to other rental agency re-sales.

    Also, see their "refurbishment process".

On edit - I see the previous poster has a former Cruise America RV.
