Another option is a "Boom Box" basically a portable CD/Radio.. Don't even use the indoor system.. I have portable hardware should I ever wish to step outdoors with sound. And, in fact, on rare occasions (like once a year) it is proper to set up an outdoor sound system... Along with my big air-blown cat atop pumpking night light, and some stuff.. Well you have most likely figured out the occasions :).
