can i tow a front wheel drive mini cooper on a tow dolly ... does anyone?

My neighbor does it all the time. Have Seen others towing same way. - Moved to Dinghy Towing forum from Towing.
- Yes. As long as there is enough clearance underneath with the floor and suspension to clear the dolly framework!
- what does your owner's manual say about this?
