Just wanted to chime in on Carefree. First Carefree we ever owned is on the latest RV we got. I'll never own another Carefree. Even though ours is manual unlike OP's, the overall quality is cheap IMO. Popcycle sticks do come in handy at awning end to keep clips in place :B
