Parking would be free as well as some paid compensation. Sorry about the water/septic situation but that is the way it is here. We dump bleach in the well to make it safe to bathe in and for dishes/laundry. We get our potable water at the Fred Meyer in town at the water dispenser ($.40 a gallon). The septic system is new and the county wouldn't permit an RV dump inlet. There is a state park and a dumpsite within 5-10 miles.
Our property has a year round creek, ponds, nice old second growth woods and is quiet most of the time. People have commented that it is park like. Neighbors are quiet for the most part. You wouldn't have to put up with barking dogs, wild kids and drunks. It is a safe neighborhood. I don't know what else would entice them. We have a camping spot that we rent out and folks are delighted with it. We live in a beautiful place and people come here to retire and recreate. There is a great Farmers Market downtown and a Community Food Coop. Also, Walmart, Winco, big box stores. 85k population of Bellingham demands full services and we have them.
Thanks for your input. Not much we can do about the water and septic.
