The RH tire is a new tire so it may well prove to be a good tire. What was the model tire that was so problematic in the past?

Carlisle didn't change molds or tread design on the improved tire. Therefore, the only way you can tell it's the new tire is by an "RH" designation next to the model of the tire. It's Carlisle "Radial Trail RH". The "RH" designates the new model with the nylon cap and improved heat resistance.
The old tire was just called "Radial Trail".
