The deficiencies of carlisle tires have been so well documented here and on other RVing sites that he probably doesn't feel the need to expound upon them.
And I agree with him.
Yep-failures that have happened on the old style tire. But the "good old boys" just won't let go. A company can't possibly improve it's product? Right?
Of course they can improve. But so far they have not proven that they have done so. Unless you feel stamping "RH" in the sidewall and releasing a slick marketing spiel somehow makes them better.
They have to prove themselves with time and miles.
Given their history, I sure wouldn't want to be the guinea pig.
