midnitesadie, Just curious,do you have any qualifications to make your opinion more valid than any one else's or are you just making noise?
If you have some factual information please educate us.
The deficiencies of carlisle tires have been so well documented here and on other RVing sites that he probably doesn't feel the need to expound upon them.
And I agree with him.
Yep-failures that have happened on the old style tire. But the "good old boys" just won't let go. A company can't possibly improve it's product? Right?
Of course they can improve. But so far they have not proven that they have done so. Unless you feel stamping "RH" in the sidewall and releasing a slick marketing spiel somehow makes them better.
They have to prove themselves with time and miles.
Given their history, I sure wouldn't want to be the guinea pig.
You already have several posters on here running them with several thousand accumulative miles. While not a long term test-early indications are they are an indeed an improved product. Remember, these tires now have been out at least 4 years.
You must have read my post incorrectly-they have added a nylon cap and not just stamped RH on the sidewall. (Unless of course your a hater and think it's a big plot by Carlisle and they haven't improved their product-they only just put a new designation on them).
There are as many Carlisle haters on here as there are Maxxis lovers (tires that have failed at least 4 times on posts I have come across-with not many numbers on the road)-those haters (the old boys network) will never accept Carlisle as an improved product....NEVER!
