Carlisle completed testing of the RH tires in late '11. The RH may have hit the streets in '12 so its going to take several years and many miles on all types of trailering forums (including RVs) using all sizes/load ranges of RH's before any across the board recommendations can be made one way or the other on any P/ST or LT.
Just because a handful on RV.net members with small trailers have had no issues doesn't mean anything. Hell we have some who swear by just about any brand ST tire out here or even the old Carlisle bias ply tires.
I'm not any tire hater (sounds like high school boy talk) but I'm wise enough to use the power of the net to make a informed decision about any tire brand/type and not just depend on one rv forum.
When we can read on all the many trailering forums (including rv forums) how much the RHs have improved from owners using all sizes/load ranges of the RHs then Carlisle may have a winner and help loose their present image with their many present and previous victims.
Luck to Carlisle as they sure need it.
You have to to love the back handed compliments! They MAY BE THE GREATEST but GOOD LUCK THEY WILL NEED IT.
BTW-"Tire Hater" may be high school talk to you but that is exactly what we have on this board against Carlisle. It's an accurate term.
You could have saved yourself some typing and just used the last sentence!
Yes, use your Internet searching abilities to find out about products that don't exist anymore including the Carlisle made before 2012.
