He's saying that if all those guys had any major issues, its assumed there would be a change in sponsor. Nothing was worded as a statement of fact.
But while they sponsor many events, only the teams who are sponsored directly would be mandated to run the sponsors product. I believe this company sponsors more events than actual teams, but it would take a a lot of research to find out for sure.
Reminds me of a Tennis player who preferred Head Tennis racquets but was sponsored by Addidas.... They took the head Racquets and put Addidas logos on them for the game Racquets. At least that's what I heard. Bahahahah...Lol.
Maybe Carlisle sponsors the boats but all the trailers are actually running Michelin Rib tires.
