I rented a U-Haul 6X12 this week. Noticed it had some heavy duty looking Carlisle bias plies made in USA for U-Haul. If any tire gets abused, it's going to be U-Haul trailer tires. I know radials run cooler and the tread lasts longer but, bias plies are tougher when it comes to sidewall damage from curbs and pavement edges. Something I've toyed with every time I've needed trailer tires.
