If it's a 10 gallon, you'll still use up that 10 gallons (@ 2 gallons a minute?) in only 5 minutes, if you really need it hot. Not to mention, the close that (10 gallons) is used, cold water is replacing it. It doesn't take very long for HOT water to become cool water.
It's a 12 gal water heater. If I need to I'd swap it out with something even better. Tankless with a recirc system?
