true, but that mini mag antenna is very weak. In a remote marginal area, you get much better results by replacing it with a full size trucker antenna or one of the stronger cylindrical antennas, like the BoatAnt or similar.
The small 4" antenna is mostly signal neutral. Other antennas have better gain on some frequencies while hurting other frequencies. It's important to know what frequency your phone operates in your town before upgrading the antenna. Otherwise you might be disappointed.
I believe some of the Tmobile bands get hurt the most with the trucker antenna. They have a negative gain. Other bands only offer you one or two db gain where as some are as high as 6db. Since it costs around $50 for one, and you are rolling the dice to see if you get loss, a little gain or a lot of gain depending on band, carrier etc. I figured it was not worth it. The Sleek itself is already giving your 23 or 26db gain, depending on if it is 3G or 4G. Just get the antenna out of the trailer or cab to minimize the faraday effect and the little stock stubby would do just fine for most people unless you are in serious extreme fringe.
