Poor excuse for not following the campground rules. In the many years I've kayaked and canoed I've never drowned, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
It's simple-if you don't like the rules, don't stay there. Not up to us to question the whys. If the rule is there, it's there. Either abide by it or don't stay. I guess I just don't understand the constant fussing over rules. It's not like there's only one campground in each are to stay at.

It really is that simple. If you cannot comply with the rules then go where the rules are more to your liking, everybody wins. The folks that own and operate the CG/Park get to determine which rules are needed and no, you do not get to pick and choose which ones you "like" well enough to actually comply with. :S
