With over 30 years in the Air Ambulance service in British Columbia, I can assure you that bicycle helmets DO save lives and more frequently, prevent severe head injury.
If you, as an adult, don't want to wear a helmet when you ride, at least, PLEASE carry an organ donor card. Your lost life may save another.
