Chair holder for rear ladder

We are contemplating getting a holder of some type to carry our director's chairs on the rear ladder. Are these all the same or are there different designs and some better than others.

We have not looked at any as of yet. We live in Canada and going to the local Camping world store is not an option. I was hoping to get some advise before we check out our local RV stores.

I saw one model in a catalogue and it swung out of the way to make the ladder usefull - we do not need that feature. This one was $91.00 but I am thinking a simpler design must be available and should be cheaper.

  • Thanks for this information. We found the above mentioned rack on Amazon.ca and placed an order. It does seem to get very good ratings so I trust it will serve us well.

    Thanks for the advice.
  • The only two things really needed in a toolbox. If it moves and is not supposed to, then duct tape is the answer. If it does not move and is supposed to WD-40 is needed. :)

Stretch cord, WD40, and Duct Tape.... What more do you need....

and it works fine. I use a bungee cord to hold things in place. Lift everything off and the ladder is available.

    We use this as well.

We use this one also. Once at the Campground I drop it down on the ladder and store my Guardian Rock shield on it.
