I make it a point to service one set of wheel bearings using only tools carried in my rig. (And make sure I have parts to replace bearings if needed)
DW's car, there is white paint where the jack needs to go. And we make sure she can use the tools in car to change a tire. I would hope somebody would help her, if I could not come, but she knows enough to be sure the car is not damaged.
