We're not full timing it, but our situation is similar. Both newly retired, we just moved from our 2 story + basement home of 25+ years to a rambler without basement up here on the island 40 miles away. Love it. We got rid of a lot of "stuff": I gave away stuff to the kids, and I averaged a trip to the local Value Village to donate stuff at least once a week and a run to the dump at least once a month for the past 6 months. Now that we're in our new home I can see we probably still have too much stuff so I'll continue getting rid of it. By the time you reach our age we've accumulated a lot of stuff and junk that we just do not need anymore.
