Cheap tires + Speed = Blown tire
Last year around this time I posted how everybody on the highway whether car or truck and trailer were blowing by me and I passed maybe 2 people over several hours on the road with my cruise set at 67...

I don't know that speed has a lot to do with it. I've had two blowouts, both of which were during sustained speeds under 50. I had one tire suffer a tread separation laying inside the canopy of my truck!
