As I mentioned in my original post this conservation area is nearby, just a 1/2 hr drive from the house, so time zone translation because of park location isn't the issue. However, the server itself could be based anywhere so perhaps that's the cause of this error ... nonetheless whomever wrote this application should have ensured before launching it that the times displayed are correct for the time zone in which it's being used. Judging from the email I received in response to my complaint this was a complete surprise so it will be interesting to see how long it takes to correct. ;)
