Sure, for $20 I'd do that too ... but $53+ is a lot more than just $20, even with the exchange rate. :(

Here in Ontario the campsite fee includes full day use of the park as well until dusk so another advantage to camping in our provincial park system is I can leave my site at the required 2 pm but park the trailer elsewhere so we can spend the entire afternoon at the beach. Places to park easily vary from park to park but a couple in the system (Inverhuron PP on Lake Huron and Port Burwell PP on Lake Erie) are particularly well suited for this as each has a large parking lot next to the beach where there's always room to park the trailer, even on long weekends. We've spent the afternoon at the beach, come back to the camper to shower and even had supper before heading home, all with no additional fees charged. :B
