Which brings up another point I was going to mention earlier....be sure you have the right gear for the job...my first TV was a 99 Ram 1500. I would have been absolutely miserable today, I am sure my trailer would have been wagging me all over the road....
And THAT is exactly what was my problem, WRONG TV, new at RV'ing with a TT and it was the tail wagging the dog all the way. When the storms kicked up I was done in the water.
It is by far the most important factor when towing a TT. I read so many posts that say "well I tow with that and it's no problem". Well IMHO they are skating on thin ice all the time and when confronted with bad weather they are an accident waiting to happen.
