Chesapeake Bay bridge or the Chesapeake Bay bridge tunnel? Two different roads with different restrictions. The Bay Bridge tunnel which travels N/S requires LP to be turned off and you have to stop and check in that it's off. The Bay Bridge tunnel bridge sections are pretty low in elevation and less prone to winds. The Chesapeake Bay Bridge which runs E/W has no tunnel and so no requirement to turn off your LP, however, is much taller and subject to crosswinds. Both have plenty of communication signs for lane closures, wind warnings etc.
