When we travel with our cats, we usually use La Quinta motor inns because they are both disability accessible and pet friendly.
They are rarely located downtown, so plan on dropping the horse box at the hotel, finding a downtown parking lot for the truck, and "hoofing it" in the Miracle Mile or Navy Pier areas.
From our experience, finding parking for a 26' Class C in downtown Chicago was bad enough; parking a horse box downtown is nigh on unlikely!
