Friends just retired and left for a 3 week Motorhome trip. I week in, wife emails my wife and says everybody in the campgrounds have dogs! So is it people who have dogs travel in thier RV's or People...

I camp with my dogs - always. It's part of the experience for me. But I understand that others don't want to camp with their dogs. It's a personal choice. I don't camp with a generator - ever. I understand that others want to camp with a generator. Again, it's a personal choice.
What gets me is the mindset that "I don't camp with my dogs, therefore you should leave yours home" or "I don't camp with a generator, therefore you should not have one either" and so on.
Give it a break people! Everybody camps differently. As long as WE ALL follow the rules and act respectfully and reasonably with each other, there is room for all of us. I think the majority of folks automatically see a dog or hear/see a generator and start drooling at the mouth anticipating bad behavior - what they don't acknowledge is all those other times when they didn't even know a dog or generator was around because the owner followed the rules.
