I have 6 Power King / Tow Max that came OEM on my toy hauler. In over 15,000 miles, I haven't had any problems with them. The tread on them are still quite good considering the mileage and weight I haul. I'm replacing them next week only because the manufacture date is week 19 of 2007.
In my observations, most RV's come OEM with China made tires. So, if there is a blowout, it is likley to occur with a OEM China tire and the story will hit the intra-webs. We seldomly hear from the folks that haven't had any issues.
Incidentally, I've read the other day that once you have a blowout, the integrity of the other tires on the same side of the RV is comprimized because they've been overloaded / damaged by having to the carrying the extra weight, even if it was for the brief moment it took to stop.
Hi craigandsue, did the other blowout occur on the same side as the first blow out?
