Been rolling on China bombs since buying our trailer with no issues in 40K miles towing (OEM were TowMaster, the current tires are Westlake). We had one tire failure, caused by the piece of metal still poking through the tire when I pulled it off.
IMO, most problems are caused by overloading or going over the speed rating. Most are rated for only 65 mph. Even a brief time overloaded or over speed can cause damage to a tire that can result in a failure a few, or even many, miles later.
