The MAXXIS have been good but there are reported failures. Next time get a set of ENDURANCE with a stellar record.

Well in truth. the Endurance have only been on the market for 4 or 5 years. Not really enough time to build, a reputation good or bad. That they are GoodYear is one strike against them.

I know they are supposed to be very good, and would be my second choice. But for now. Maxxis is still the go to ST tire.

Give me a break. When I touted how good they were at two tears on the market some said wait til they have been on the market for four years. They have been now around 4.5.

ZERO reported non road hazards is hard to argue with but some will. When that doesn’t work they claim thin tread and lousy mileage.

I have looked for failures with no findings. If there have been someone would have posted it by now.

As a lot of people don't replace their tires until they have 6 to 7 years on them. We won't really know till then. that is what I was going on.

Me. I'll never know. After 3 failures in the 4th year of 2 different brands of ST tires. One being GoodYear. Mine come off at the beginning of their 4th season. No matter what they are. changing tire on the side of the interstate is no fun. Better to be a higher rated tire, and keep them fresh.
