Yes please post the results. I have a nice piece of wood furniture from my mother who is a chain smoker.
My wife and I have washed it with vinegar, put charcoal in it, and I don't know what all else.
I think we've just gotten used to it, but if we're gone for a week, I can smell it when I come back in the door. Sometimes I smell it if I open one of the drawers that have been closed for a time.
I am an ex-smoker and I can't stand it.
