Class A RV One-Way from Coast to Coast (May-June 2015)

My friends and I decided to implement a bucket list wish of an RV cross-country trip from coast to coast. My friends are coming from Europe, and that part has already been arranged. Disregard for now ...

I would worry about liability more than anything else with strangers sharing the rental. Who is responsible if something happens on the way back and you are not in the RV?
I would shorten the trip, and return the RV.
Give us the exact dates and perhaps we can help with the route and itinerary so you can see as much as possible?
