Class A towing an 2017 Lincoln MKZ on a Tow Dolly

I didn't know they had steering capacity. I looked on the websites and there was no explanation of how. What is the difference between the steerable dolly and a turntable steerable dolly?

I believe they are AWD and cannot be dolly towed. My Taurus SHO is AWD and I tow it 4-down. It tows well.

Thanks once again to all. I've been looking at the Demco Kar Kaddy but which one... they vary quiet a bit in price. Of course the most expensive one I'm sure is the best but how are the others. Also what do folks use for brake/running lites? I hear there's wireless ones out there but can't seem to locate them. And what is the best method for a secure attachment method without damage to the car trunk?

Thanks for the advice on the dolly's but now that leads me to the next question which ones are the better than others and accessories like braking etc...

The new MKZ 3.0L turbo is a rocket, and they are offering a FWD version for RVers who want to dolly it.

The thread "which dolly and why" is another good place to read. I do think the MKZ is wide enough you probably want to avoid a turntable dolly. Either a steerable dolly or a fixed dolly (ACME) will make sure your doors don't get mashed by the fenders

So thxs to all for comments. As for my comment on the "future"if all goes right and I retire this year as planned future would be less than a year away. So now with all this info and talking to friends who tow I'm going to start looking for a tow dolly, lites and associated items to complete the package and start towing my car camping. So now I'm looking for suggestions on what I need to start towing and what is the best Tow dolly etc. that I should use?

Agree, I may have mistakenly read that as a two part question.... dolly-able? or which braking system to use for flat towing.

As for dolly brake systems, you can choose electric drum or hydraulic surge disc. The car doesn't car what system the dolly uses, and no, the car should not have its own braking system when used on a dolly.

Why worry about "future" towing now?
